Mr. Martin was nominated by fellow staff members for his dedication, hard work, and positive impact on our school. Here’s what several staff members had to say about him:
💬"I have witnessed him multiple times go out of his way to provide for his students and even students who are not ever in his classroom. He has given money out of his own pocket anonymously to keep students from feeling left out when it comes to Valentine's treats, school supplies, lunch money, etc. There aren't many people who would do that."
💬"I have noticed how well Mr. Martin has done this year in the elementary. For someone who has only been in the elementary for one year, it doesn't show. He has gone above and beyond to learn how elementary differs from JH/HS. "
💬"The students love his class and have learned a lot. He incorporates project-based learning into his lessons and the students look forward to learning. "
💬"Earlier in the year, several students didn't have snacks for a class party they were attending. He took it upon himself to purchase snacks for each of them. I believe that shows a lot about his character and who he is as a person. "
